Day 1 : Depart from Lusaka – to Serenje. 1st stop over is in Kabwe for tea-break at any good café. Then the team will head to Serenje for an overnight sleepover at any good lodge. Distances:(Lusaka to Kabwe = 142kms). (Kabwe to Kapiri Mposhi = 59 kms). (Kapiri Mposhi to Mkushi = 86 km). Kapiri Mposhi to Serenje = 208 kms). Total distance to be travelled: 409 kms |

Pick-up point is LEVY MALL JUNCTION in Lusaka, capital city of Zambia.
06:00 am: You will be picked from the parking yard of Levy Mall junction in front of StayEasy Hotel Lusaka. Accompanied by our tour guide and driver, you will travel westward using our vehicle on the Lusaka – Kapiri (T-2) road. The final destination will be Serenje situated in the central province of Zambia.
NOTE: Please be at LEVY MALL congregation point outside StayEasy Hotel by 05:30 am in order to attend the briefing session.

Program of the day
07:30 am: Wake up from the Lodge in Serenje. Thereafter you will take your sumptuous breakfast.
08:30 am: You will then leave for Samfya.
Factsheet of information: Samfya is a town located in the Zambian province of Luapula. It is the centre of Samfya District. The town is located on the south-western shore of Lake Bangweulu, on the longest stretch of well-defined shore of that lake.
Mid-day: Arrive in Samfya and take your first Sumptuous lunch.
15:00 pm – Undertake your activity as you will be told by the tour leader
19:00 pm – 21:30 pm: Evening dinner and relaxation with friends.
21:00 pm: Retire to bed to sleep.

Final Phase: Evening dinner with friends before retiring to bed

Kindly travel light but carry adequate clothing for travelling, and for walking around, and game viewing. You must to pack their mosquito repellant as we are still a wet season full of mosquitoes everywhere in Zambia. Masking up in public places is no longer a requirement in Zambia.
Other items to carry include:
- Please carry your Zambian National Registration Card (NRC).
- Comfortable walking shoes and open sandals.
- Full sleeve less bright colored tops for game viewing excursion.
- Umbrellas and if possible a hat to protect them from sunshine just in case it gets hot. Carry jersey just in case it gets cold. Carry also just one or two light blankets in case of a car breakdown.
- Small bottle of sanitizers, small bottle of glycerin and personal tower.
- Any other personal items for your convenience such as ATM, Visa cards e.t.c.
- In case you want special wine and drinks to celebrate their holiday, you are better off buying them in Lusaka where it is cheap as compared to Kafue National Park. Getting smaller cooler box will not be a bad idea as well to cool off your drinks. Please you must not forget their toast paste and tooth brushes.
Cancellation and Refunds:
- 2 months before departure date: Full refund of the money paid.
- 1 month before departure date: 50% refund of the money already paid.
- 1 – 15 days before departure date: 30% refund of the money already paid
- 14 – 1 day before departure date: No refund (Customer loses money already paid)

Other terms and conditions
1. Lochinvar Safaris reserves the right to withdraw any participant from the tour without refund due to bad behavior.
2. This tour is none transferrable to another party without the consent and approval of Lochinvar Safaris.
3. On the day of departure at StayEasy Hotel Parking yard, if the tour vehicle leaves you because you did not show up or was late, you can not be refunded money already paid. Instead, you may request for another departure date.
4. All payments through AIRTEL, ZAMTEL, MTN on our TechPay payment gateway system account cannot be reversed by Lochinvar Safaris or TechPay.
